Scholarships for 7th Graders Available

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Young Scholars Program offers a unique pre-college scholarship and advising program to high-achieving, low-income students. From 8th grade through high school, Cooke Young Scholars join a community of ambitious peers and receive academic and college counseling, financial support for academic and extracurricular enrichment, and a pathway to college success. Last Call for Auction Items

Thank you so much to the families who have brought in items with a Coffee, Tea & Chocolate theme. The silent auction baskets help bring in a lot of money for our foundation to fund enrichment items and projects for our students. 

Friday, March 10, is the last day to bring in donations to homeroom teachers. If you have not yet contributed and plan to, please be sure to have items in by that date.

Calling All Runners!

40th Annual Foggy Bottom Milk Run
Sunday, March 12, 2017
2 Mile Fun Run begins at 2pm

There is a special $10 entry fee (includes T-shirt & medal) for the 2 mile run for elementary school participants, girls and boys ages 5-14. 
If you are interested in running the 2 mile race with Jacoby Creek School this year register online at www.foggybottommilkrun.com by February 21st(your shirt and bib will be delivered to the school the week of March 6th for students/families).  Make sure to list Jacoby Creek School when you register.  Some of our cross country and track coaches will also be running in the 2 mile run.  If you have any questions please contact Davita McGoldrick dmcgoldrick@jcsk8.org

Arcata High Registration

Don't forget, the Arcata High School counselors will be here tomorrow morning, 2/9/17, to meet with 8th graders and collect their registration packets.

Academy of the Redwoods Parent Info Nights
